Hi,
maybe this picture can help you…
LG
Hi Micheal and thanks for your reply.
In answer to your statement “ maybe this picture can help“ I am afraid not , in fact it adds to the confusion, let me explain why.
The confusion starts when you first look at the model on the downloads page . It says its a Drachenfliege 3mm yet when you download the file its called a Drachenfliege 2mm. That was actually a good thing as I have lots of 2mm material and little 3mm
If you look at the picture it shows antennae ( antennen) , there are no antenna parts . Tha picture shows it has a long tail yet there is no part for the long tail , and the wings on the picture are totally different to those on the dxf file. Clearly the picture and the dxf file are for two different models .
Would it not be a good idea if when someone uploads a DXF file it included a separate sheet showing a picture of the parts but with letters or numbers next to each slot so to assemble it it would be a simplem case of matching the numbers , like A1 to A1 , A2 to A2. It would make life so much easier .
Is it possible for you to put me in contact with who ever it was that was kind enough to upload the file ? surely they would not upload a file without first trying it out to make sure it works so they would know how to build it
Regards
Don
